- Delivery
- Installed and live within 1 to 2 weeks of ordering. Site assessment, installation and commissioning are included.
- Warranty
- 12 months against manufacturing defects, from the date of installation.
- Service fee
- The platform runs on a service fee worked out per litre. It covers hosting, remote monitoring, M-Pesa reconciliation, SMS alerts and support. The rates are in our Terms of Service, and the payback calculator shows what a kiosk keeps after them.
- VAT
- Prices exclude 16% VAT, which is added where it applies. The service fee is not subject to VAT. Prices can change, so please confirm at the time of order.

How do customers pay for water?
Both products collect through M-Pesa Paybill 4320885. At a Hydrolink ATM, customers pay any amount with the ATM's number as the account number and receive a token by SMS. In a Hydrolink Hub building, tenants use their unit name as the account number.
Is VAT included in the price?
No, the prices shown exclude VAT. VAT is added at 16% where it applies, and each price shows the total with VAT. Hydrolink's service fee is not subject to VAT.
Are there ongoing costs after I buy?
Yes. The platform runs on a service fee worked out per litre. It covers hosting, remote monitoring, M-Pesa reconciliation, SMS alerts and support. The rate for each product is set out in our Terms of Service, so there are no surprises after you buy.
How long does it take?
Installation typically takes 1 to 2 weeks from order to a live system: site assessment, installation and commissioning are included.
What does the hardware warranty cover?
Hydrolink hardware is warranted against manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of installation. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, power surges, flooding or unauthorised tampering.
What happens during a power outage?
A Hydrolink Hub has a rechargeable battery (a UPS) that keeps it running for up to two weeks, so billing data is not lost and monitoring does not stop. For a Hydrolink ATM, the solar bundle keeps it serving customers through power cuts.
Do I need mobile coverage?
The Hydrolink ATM reports over the mobile network, and a 2G signal is enough. The Hydrolink Hub works without internet, storing data and billing locally, and syncs whenever a connection is available.
Can I mix postpay and prepay units on one Hydrolink Hub?
Yes. The same hub runs either billing model, and you can mix both across your units.
